The troupe will celebrate its 25th anniversary with performances of classic plays at outdoor stages across Southern California this season.
First up is much-loved comedy Much Ado About Nothing on Saturday, June 25 followed by an encore performance from last year’s successful tragicomedy Macbeth which takes place in nearby Point Fermin Park.
Prior to the pandemic SBTS traveled tirelessly for 10 weeks bringing a Comedy and Tragedy anywhere that rarely saw play or even Shakespeare but since then they’ve decreased productions down seven weeks including 3 showings each within San Pedro.
They will also be traveling around Los Angeles neighborhoods like Rancho Palos Verdes and Hermosa Beach as well!
