Sai Nanthavong
Sai Nanthavong is someone that i met at the Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce. I’ve kept in touch with her during chamber events. She works at First Foundation Bank as Vice President of Relationship Banking covering the South Bay and Los Angeles markets. First Foundation Bank recently bought out Premier Business Bank. Their corporate office is in Irvine. They have offices from San Diego to the South Bay with their latest new location opening in El Segundo in August.
First Foundation Bank is a business bank, specializing in dealing with business owners directly. Their primary business comes from real estate investors, commercial building, commercial lines of credits and business loans. They are not interested in mass marketing. They prefer to work closer with fewer clients by giving personal service and providing better rates on accounts and loans. Everyone at the bank are experienced bankers that come with a vast amount of knowledge in the industry.
Sai came to Los Angeles from Ohio ten years ago. Spanning over twenty years of banking experience, she started as a teller and managed almost five banks in the South Bay area including Director of Business Banking. She prefers small community banks because of the service that they can provide as opposed to larger banks that target mass market.
Sai’s approach to meeting with clients is to build strong relationships through business and community development. Through these relationships is how she has been successful in growing her book of business through referrals and key influencers. If you’re looking to have a close relationship with your banker, Sai is the person for you.
In addition to serving the business community, Sai is involved in a number of organizations within the South Bay area. She serves as a member chair on the Economic Development Council. She is also on the Board of Directors for the Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce and co-chairs on the Membership Committee. Sai is also a graduate of Leadership Redondo 2015. In addition, she is on the board of the South Bay Children’s Health Center. Just recently because of her community work, she was honored with the “Volunteer of the Year 2018” award from the Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce.
She is a proud resident of the South Bay and as you can see, very active in the community.
