I had the pleasure of stopping by Rock N’ Juice located in Riviera Village. They have 3 locations in the South Bay. The other locations being in Torrance and San Pedro. I met the co-owner Voula Tsiboukas, an amazing person with a passion for food, friends, family and life. She seemed very comfortable in the neighborhood and the people that walked by knew her and they would converse with one another. The location is relatively new, opened November 2017.
Among their many specialties, Voula mentioned that one of her favorite juice drinks is one called Beet-It. With spinach, beet, parsley, green apple, pear, carrot, lemon and ginger it’s sure to give you the vitamins you need and energize you in an organic way. Her philosophy to spread health and wellness is to implement respect, consistency and quality.
Several years ago I had really become an avid “juicer”. I was feeling that my energy level was low and feeling tired. Plus I had gained a significant amount of weight, which was bothering me not just in looks but also feeling heavy and fatigued. I was introduced to juicing by a friend that had a similar experience and came out of it with the help of a good diet, exercise and juicing.
Voula mentioned that they are looking forward to their first summer season in Redondo Beach. The Redondo Beach Street Fair will be right in front of their store. Also they will be at the South Bay Botanical Garden for their annual wellness day concert on June 24th.
