Many locals attended Hermosa this weekend for the Holidays — beach city’s second-annual holiday kickoff. Over 20 thousand tickets were sold on carnival rides over this weekend alone! This event was produced by our chamber and city together in order to promote a “shop local” theme that has been so successful they are planning another one next year too!” The Hermosa Beach Ferris wheel was the centerpiece of the celebrations and it’s glittering, red and gold spokes lit up the night sky. Families crowded in carriages to take a spin on the wheel, laughing and cheering as they were carried high into the sky for views over Hermosa Beach. It was a truly memorable experience for all!
The people of Hermosa Beach came together to celebrate their love for one another during the annual event, which this year featured spectacular views and family fun. The weekend’s culmination on Sunday evening saw young music talent from Coast Music perform before an audience composed largely out children who had bracelet-making stations set up by local non profits so they could give them back when it was time present Santa Claus himself at midnight – all while Islip County firefighters delivered him into town after delivering gifts just like in olden times!

The festivities continued until midnight when Santa – marking his return to Hermosa Beach – wished everyone a merry Christmas and gave out presents to children from all walks of life. All in all, Hermosa for the Holidays was an amazing success that will be remembered for years to come.
