I’m happy to report that we have made it through this heat wave. Bad news is it’s just the beginning of summer and probably there will be more coming. I remember the days when heat waves weren’t as common. Watching the news, it’s not a Southern California problem. This was a nationwide phenomenon. Just in Los Angeles there were at any given time over 50,000 people with electricity for over 24 hours.
For the first time in my life I live in a home with air conditioning. Up until now I’ve managed to live with ac, so I’m assuming the temperatures have been and will continue to rise. Several days this past week set records for hottest days ever recorded. I’ll be keeping an eye out for the next heat wave so that I can plan to stay in. Hope everyone is staying cool.
