Searching for the best brunch in The South Bay?

There is no better reason to wake up on a weekend than BRUNCH!  Yes, the smell of freshly made coffee, pancakes, bacon, eggs, sometimes even chilaquiles (my personal favorite) and mimosas is the only thought that gets me out of bed on a Sunday morning. So… I decided to search for THE BEST brunch in The South Bay.

This is not an easy task, we are lucky to have amazing restaurants in the area, so please be patient while weekend after weekend I eat my way to the best brunch in the area.

I asked people in Instagram for their favorite brunch and we got so many good recommendations (thanks you guys!) Hopefully, we will be able to visit all of them.  I had to start somewhere, and that place was HT Grill.

HT Grill is in Riviera Village in Redondo beach.  I have to say, I love Riviera Village, its little shops and their many restaurant options make it a great place to walk around any day of the week.  Sundays they also have a small Farmers market, awesome for me to shop for the week before brunch.

People were nice enough to recommend us the restaurant AND what to order which made Sunday a lot easier.  Thank god I decided to not think and just follow people’s recommendations because this restaurant has probably the fluffiest most delicious blueberry pancakes I have ever tried… you can see them in the picture, buried under all those blueberries.

Another good surprise was their Bloody Mary bar…yes, a whole bar to customize your Bloody Mary’s. Cucumber, pickles, shrimp, chiles, even cheese are the options you have, pretty good huh?

If you have more recommendations, please, PLEASE let me know.  I will be a good Samaritan and spend my Sunday morning eating so more people can know about these amazing places we have in The South Bay 🙂
