South Coast Botanical Garden is home to the new Lego exhibit

This Is My South Bay

About South Coast Botanical Garden Lego exhibit by Sean Kenney

More than 40 nature-themed sculptures and Lego bricks combined are on display throughout the South Coast Botanic Garden’s 87 acres. A new traveling exhibit by Sean Kenney has just opened here and it’s called “Nature POP!,” which is exactly what you would expect from its bright colors and fun shapes that represent animals in all sorts of habitats across our world – from rainforests to deserts or even as close as your backyard garden if we take care not only plants but also insects too while they’re still around

“Nature POP!” is the next big thing at SCBG, with a 3.5-acre children’s and family garden that will have its groundbreaking late this year or early 2019 (depending on whether there are any delays). For those who can’t get around easily–or even if you just don your sneakers every now then because they’re more comfortable than heels!–there are shuttles running seven days per week beginning 10am until 5pm through Tram Road where all of our sculptures lie waiting patiently toward their backsides as though saying “come find me!”

We invite you to explore these amazing works of art and be part of the larger conversation about nature conservation; each sculpture is not only an aesthetic treat, but also serves as a reminder that we need to do our best to keep our planet healthy. From butterflies and birds to mammals like foxes and bears, Sean Kenney’s work gives us a unique perspective on how important it is that we protect the environment. Whether you’re coming for the sculptures or just looking for a fun day outdoors with your family, South Coast Botanical Garden has something for everyone!

So come join us at SCBG this summer! We are sure you will find what you’re looking for in Nature POP!. See you soon!
